How to get here. You will find Llanwrtyd Wells nestling on the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales, mid way between Llandovery and Bulith Wells on the A483. The Trains stop here too and if you stay in local accommodation you can get special rates. We are on the Heart of Wales line that runs from Shrewsbury to Swansea.

Tony Bain
A qualified MIAS Mountain Bike level 2 instructor, Tony Has been living and riding in Wales for 3.5 years. He loves the quiet natural wilderness riding environment that surrounds this part of Wales.
Tony has been a Scout leader for many years and is no stranger to the outdoors. While in New Zealand he took part in Operation Raleigh as a venturer in Fiordland for 3 months, participating in community, adventure and scientific projects. Having grown up on high country stations in New Zealand he is also a keen hill walker and has started WGL mountain leader training.
As a young man Tony spent his weekends Sea Kayaking and Wave skiing in and around the many bays and inlets on the Banks pennsular, near Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. Recently attained the 2 star Kayaking grade, and by the end of summer should have attained 3 star and completed Foundation Safety and Rescue Training. In his leisure time he can be found on the Irfon or Wye Rivers paddling his Coracle, Bathtub, or Bliss Stick Kayak.
As a volunteer Tony helps on the organising some of Green-Events Mountain Bike events, The Red Kite Bash, Real Ale Wobble and of course the Mountain bike Chariot Race held in January. At present the Fastest local Bog Snorkelling Triathlon and Fastest Local Bog snorkeller (15 secs off the world record). When time allows Tony is a keen competitor in the Green-Events calendar of fun quirky outdoor events.
