Nestled on the Southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains, Llanwrtyd Wells is no stranger to fun Outdoor activities, Granted some are a little out of the ordinary Like Green-Events Bog Snorkeling, the Man Versus Horse Mountain Marathon or Mountain Bike Roman Chariot Racing.

Nordic Walking is new to Llanwrtyd Wells.  Holiday makers have been flocking to Llanwrtyd Wells since the Georgian times to walk in the hills around this quaint little town.  Now you can come here and have Nordic Walking Holiday Breaks.  With accommodation provided from one of the many hotels, guest houses and B&B’s in the UK’s smallest town.

Last year saw our first Nordic walking event for the World Alternative Games 2012. Our 21kms/13mile Nordic Walking Half Marathon is back again on 12th May 2013  and will lead on to Nordic Walking Marathon Series around the Cambrian mountains & Wales specifically for the Nordic walker.
