Get some practise in and ready yourself for the Mountain Bike Roman Chariot World Championships on the second weekend in January each year held in Llanwrtyd Wells.
How Does It Work?
Teams of 3, 2 riders on mountain bikes pulling a charioteer in a specially design 44 gallon oil drum on wheelbarrow tyres. Is this normal? Yes; Quite normal and seriously wicked fun.
The 2012 event is the Fifth World Championship Mountain Bike Chariot Race to be held by Green Events at the Abernant Hotel on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells. Which attracts teams from all over the country.
